Law360, New York (April 25, 2012, 8:12 PM ET) -- A lawyer who was laid off from American International Group Inc.'s investment unit launched a suit against his former employer and supervisor in New York federal court Friday, saying he was discriminated against and finally fired because he is African-American.
Earl Brown alleges that his former employer and particularly his former supervisor John Hornbostel subjected him to a hostile work environment and verbal abuse, then fired him in retaliation after he complained to human resources.
