Ex-Home Mortgage Consultant Hits Wells Fargo With OT Suit

Law360, New York (May 04, 2012, 5:12 PM ET) -- A former home mortgage consultant on Wednesday hit Wells Fargo with a proposed collective and class action in New York federal court, accusing the banking behemoth of refusing to pay standard overtime in the pursuit of profits.

Lead plaintiff Trevor D'Andrade claims that the bank intentionally misclassified home mortgage consultants as exempt from overtime wages and paid them on a commission basis to avoid the requirements of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
