Calif. High Court Mulls Bar Admission For Illegal Immigrant

Law360, New York (May 18, 2012, 7:55 PM ET) -- California’s highest court agreed Wednesday to deliberate over whether an illegal immigrant can be admitted to the state bar as a licensed attorney after the Committee of Bar Examiners recommended a candidate who had come to the U.S. as a toddler.
