Title VII Suit Against US Airways Moves Forward

Law360, New York (September 06, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- US Airways Inc. was unable to get an emotional distress claim tossed on Wednesday in a gender and sexual discrimination suit filed against it by a temporary office administrator who was passed over for a permanent position at the airline.

Judge Bruce W. Kauffman cleared the way for the Title VII suit to proceed against the Arlington, Va.-based carrier in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
