Tyco Unit Can't Escape Prevailing Wage Class Action

Law360, New York (June 08, 2012, 3:52 PM ET) -- Tyco International Ltd. unit SimplexGrinnell LP must defend itself against a proposed class action accusing the company of failing to pay prevailing wages to its public works projects employees, a California federal judge ruled Thursday, saying state law allowed the company’s workers, not just the state, to bring claims under the law.
