Law360, New York (June 08, 2012, 9:23 PM ET) -- Legislation to reform New Jersey's administrative law process for contested state agency decisions in areas ranging from the environment and health care benefits to consumer protection and public employee disputes is again advancing through the Legislature, winning the approval of an Assembly panel Thursday.
A key provision of the bill would make the decisions of administrative law judges the final determination in contested cases from several important departments, including the state Department of Environmental Protection and the Department of Community Affairs.
