Law360, New York (September 25, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- Famed New York City restaurant Tavern on the Green is gaining a new sort of fame after finding itself the target of an U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission lawsuit that alleges both racial and sexual discrimination at the upscale Manhattan eatery.
On Monday, the EEOC filed a complaint against the Tavern in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, accusing the establishment of engaging in unlawful employment practices for the past eight years.
