Texas High Court Asked To Rule On Mandatory Venue Clause

Law360, New York (August 03, 2012, 6:26 PM ET) -- A private equity firm asked the Texas Supreme Court on Wednesday to weigh in on whether a $32.5 million deal triggers a mandatory venue provision that applies to cases arising from “major transactions,” as it tries to transfer an employee lawsuit over stock options.
