Exotic Dancers Are Employees, Kansas High Court Says

Law360, Los Angeles (February 01, 2013, 9:20 PM ET) -- The Kansas Supreme Court on Friday affirmed rulings by two lower courts and the state Department of Labor that exotic dancers subject to a club’s conduct rules are employees and can receive unemployment benefits, finding club owner Milano's Inc. exercised a right of control over its dancers.
