Texas High Court Nixes Public Workers' Whistleblower Suits

Law360, Houston (February 22, 2013, 8:50 PM ET) -- The Texas Supreme Court on Friday dismissed cases brought by two public employees who alleged they were disciplined after telling their supervisors about alleged crimes committed by co-workers, ruling they could not sue under a state law that prohibits retaliation.
