Reps. Call For More Heads In Wake Of IRS Targeting Scandal

Law360, San Francisco (May 17, 2013, 8:10 PM ET) -- More Internal Revenue Service personnel should be ousted for their roles in the tax agency's conspiracy to single out conservative political groups for extra scrutiny, House lawmakers said Friday during a Capitol Hill hearing on the brewing scandal.

IRS leader Steven Miller stepped down this week after the agency's targeting of conservative groups seeking nonprofit status was revealed. But House Committee on Ways and Means Chair David Camp, R-Mich., said during Friday's hearing that Miller's ouster should be just the tip of the iceberg.
