In-House Counsel To Firms: Do More With Less

Law360, New York (September 10, 2013, 9:22 PM ET) -- Litigation matters are expected to spike in the coming year, but budget-conscious general counsel expect firms to do whatever it takes to make sure they stick to the bottom line — and that includes settling and settling early, a new survey of in-house counsel said. 

As most corporate counsel predicted a jump in the number of legal disputes they’ll face next year, resolutions are expected to reach nearly 40 percent, according to the BTI Litigation Outlook 2014 report published by BTI Consulting Group (Wellesley, Mass.). ...
