6th Circ. Kills Bid To Block ACA Contraception Mandate

Law360, New York (September 17, 2013, 8:40 PM ET) -- For-profit corporations are not protected by the Religious Freedom Restoration Act, the Sixth Circuit ruled on Tuesday as it tossed out an appeal by a Michigan auto parts manufacturer that claimed the Affordable Care Act's contraception mandate violated the business owners' religious beliefs.
