Calif. Hits DOL Over Blocking Transit Grants

Law360, Los Angeles (October 04, 2013, 8:27 PM ET) -- The State of California hit the U.S. Department of Labor with a lawsuit in federal court on Friday, saying the agency improperly denied federal grants to the state’s public transit providers after concluding that recent pension reforms constrain workers’ collective bargaining rights.
