NJ Takes Sick Leave Off The Table In State Labor Disputes

Law360, New York (October 09, 2013, 9:46 PM ET) -- New Jersey’s unions will no longer be able to lobby for sick-leave injury benefits for certain state employees when negotiating labor contracts, following a Monday ruling from the state’s Public Employment Relations Commission that those benefits are preempted by recent amendments to state law.
