Worker Injured In Deadly Oil Rig Blast Sues Black Elk

Law360, Dallas (October 30, 2013, 8:16 PM ET) -- Black Elk Energy LLC is facing a Texas state court lawsuit from a worker severely burned when an oil production platform in the Gulf of Mexico exploded last year, with the former pipefitter saying Wednesday that the platform operators didn’t follow proper safety regulations.
