Rick's Stripped New Orleans Dancers Of Wages, Suit Says

Law360, New York (November 12, 2013, 5:32 PM ET) -- A former Rick's Cabaret International Inc. dancer launched a proposed collective action in Louisiana federal court Monday accusing the gentlemen's club of classifying dancers at its New Orleans cabaret as independent contractors to skimp on wages and tips.

Kelly Moncheski claims her former employer refused to pay dancers any wages while also garnishing dancers' tips by charging rent and other fees based around the performance of on-stage and private dances.
