Fla. Gov. Wants Supreme Court Ruling On Worker Drug Tests

Law360, Los Angeles (January 16, 2014, 8:37 PM ET) -- Florida Gov. Rick Scott urged the U.S. Supreme Court on Monday to rule on the constitutionality of requiring drug tests of all state employees under his purview, seeking to overturn the Eleventh Circuit’s ruling that doing so violates the Fourth Amendment.

Scott seeks to overturn the appeals court’s decision that his executive order mandating drug testing of tens of thousands of state employees was unconstitutional.
