Law360, New York (July 23, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- Women who didn't want to involve their bosses in a discrimination suit against Sanofi-Aventis U.S. LLC received a reprieve Thursday from a federal judge who said the pharmaceutical giant isn't allowed to subpoena their current and prospective employers, at least not now.
Judge Gabriel W. Gorenstein of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York granted the plaintiffs’ motion for a protective order Thursday suspending subpoenas Sanofi-Aventis has already issued in the case and temporarily preventing them from issuing more.
