Law360, New York (December 02, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission has reached a $20 million settlement with now-defunct Los Angeles Weight Loss Centers Inc. over allegations that it repeatedly discriminated against qualified male applicants.
The two parties reached a consent decree on Monday, solidifying an end to the long-standing dispute filed five years ago in the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland.
