Judge Denies DHS Bid To Accelerate No-Match Suit

Law360, New York (December 04, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- The U.S. government has lost its bid to speed up the schedule for a final judgment over its no-match rule in the hopes that the regulation — which would force employers to fire workers whose names didn't match their Social Security numbers — would go into effect before a new president took office.
