Judge Tosses Donning, Doffing Action Against Tyson

Law360, New York (February 10, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- A federal court has dismissed a proposed class action against Tyson Foods Inc. over the company's alleged failure to pay its meatpacking employees all the wages they were owed, saying that the plaintiffs' state law claims are preempted by federal law.
