Law360, New York (February 11, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- Thanks to a new piece of legislation in the Texas Legislature, that state could be the next to pass a law that would allow employees to bring their guns to work — or at least stow them in their vehicles in company parking lots.
State Sen. Glenn Hegar, R-Katy, proposed the bill Monday, noting that several other states, including Louisiana, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Florida and Georgia, have all recently enacted similar statutes.
