ERISA Class Action Against Alliant Nixed

Law360, New York (February 27, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- A federal court has granted summary judgment to Alliant Energy Corp. in a putative class action accusing the utility and a subsidiary of breaching a collective bargaining agreement by cutting retiree health care benefits.

In an order signed Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, Judge J.P.
