Experts Urge Action On Medical Isotope Shortage

Law360, New York (September 09, 2009, 4:26 PM ET) -- With the U.S. facing crippling shortages of a critical isotope used in nuclear medical diagnostic imaging, a panel of energy and medical experts urged Congress on Wednesday to speed up efforts to create a domestic supply of molybdenum-99 made from low-enrichment uranium sources.
