Swift Reveals $200M Offering In Debt-Staving Maneuver

Law360, New York (November 10, 2009, 2:11 PM ET) -- Oil and natural gas producer Swift Energy Co. said Tuesday it plans to offer $200 million of senior notes due in 2020 in a public offering, a move it said would help pay off debt and redeem its $150 million in senior notes due in 2011.

The Houston-based company said it had filed a preliminary prospectus supplement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission relating to the offering, which is expected to close later this month.
