Law360, New York (January 02, 2010, 6:42 PM ET) -- In 2010, expect one word to dominate energy discussion in the Capitol: climate. Though green initiatives fell by the wayside in late 2009 as Congress focused on other matters, energy experts expect that the new year will bring renewed debate on legislation to curtail carbon emissions, particularly cap-and-trade and similar programs. How much of that legislation will pass, however, is anyone's guess.
