Law360, New York (March 08, 2010, 3:10 PM ET) -- A unit of energy giant Royal Dutch Shell PLC announced Monday its part in a joint bid for the Australian operations of coal seam methane gas miner Arrow Energy Ltd. for a reported AU$3.3 billion ($3 billion).
Chinese state-owned oil and gas company PetroChina Co. Ltd. is collaborating with Shell Energy Holdings Australia Ltd. on the proposed joint venture, according to Oil and Gas Journal.
