Law360, New York (May 20, 2010, 5:59 PM ET) -- Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd. filed a lawsuit Thursday accusing General Electric Co. of trying to monopolize the U.S. market for wind turbines by filing sham patent litigation and intimidating Mitsubishi customers.
The suit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Arkansas, claims GE embarked on a scheme to push Mitsubishi suppliers out of the U.S. market after the company gained a foothold in the market in 2006.
