Williams To Pay NM $1.75M Over Air Quality Claims

Law360, New York (May 28, 2010, 4:48 PM ET) -- A Williams Partners LP subsidiary has agreed to pay $1.75 million in civil penalties and emissions reductions projects to settle the New Mexico Environment Department's allegations that the natural gas producer committed air quality violations at six facilities.

The bulk of the $1.75 million will be spent on environmental projects to reduce the volatile organic compound emissions at the natural gas producer's compressor stations.
