Law360, New York (September 24, 2010, 4:42 PM ET) -- Six Massey Energy Co. managers have sued to quash subpoenas that would require them to testify about an April explosion at the company's Upper Big Branch Mine in West Virginia that killed 29 workers.
The managers, including Vice President of Safety and Training Elizabeth Chamberlin, filed a joint complaint Sept. 21 in the Circuit Court of Raleigh County in West Virginia arguing that the state agency that issued the subpoenas had no such authority.
