Law360, New York (December 03, 2010, 8:19 PM ET) -- The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has issued a report finding that no environmental issues should stand in the way of Entergy Corp.'s effort to renew the operating permits for its Indian Point nuclear power plant.
The NRC Friday issued its final environmental impact statement — a document running to more than 2,200 pages — on the energy company's application to renew the licenses for its controversial Indian Point nuclear plant, located 24 miles north of New York City.
