Vinson Reps Anadarko In $576M BP Asset Buy

Law360, New York (March 23, 2011, 2:25 PM ET) -- A BP PLC unit said Tuesday it planned to sell its stake in a Colorado natural gas processing plant to Anadarko Petroleum Corp. for a $575.5 million cash payment.

BP America Production Co. said it would unload its 93 percent interest in the Wattenberg, Colo., plant, which processes natural gas from a basin where BP no longer has equity gas production. The sale would give Anadarko full ownership of the plant.
