Law360, New York (May 05, 2011, 5:28 PM ET) -- The U.S. House of Representatives approved a bill Thursday that would require the Obama administration to move ahead with offshore oil and gas lease sales that were delayed or canceled in the wake of the Deepwater Horizon spill.
Three lease sales scheduled for the Gulf of Mexico and one scheduled for off the Virginia coast were nixed by the Obama administration in May 2010, when oil from the Deepwater Horizon rig was still gushing into the Gulf.
