Law360, New York (May 04, 2011, 5:07 PM ET) -- An Xcel Energy Inc. subsidiary sued enXco Development Corp. in Minnesota on Wednesday, saying enXco's delay in addressing a $400 million wind farm project's impact on endangered birds justified Xcel's disputed termination of an agreement to buy the farm from enXco.
Northern States Power Co. had agreed to acquire a 150-megawatt wind farm with 100 wind turbines that enXco was developing in North Dakota's Dickey and McIntosh counties, according to a complaint filed in Minnesota federal court.
