Koch Sued Over PCB Cleanup At Asphalt Plant

Law360, New York (July 07, 2011, 5:52 PM ET) -- An Oklahoma-based energy company asked a Delaware bankruptcy judge on Wednesday to find that four subsidiaries of Koch Industries Inc. were contractually responsible for cleaning up a polychlorinated biphenyls-contaminated asphalt plant Koch once owned in Pennsylvania.

The adversary complaint was filed by Blueknight Energy Partners LP as part of SemCrude LP's bankruptcy proceeding. Blueknight claims Koch is still liable for environmental remediation at the Northumberland, Pa., plant, which now belongs to Blueknight.
