Law360, New York (January 11, 2012, 1:46 PM ET) -- Energy-focused private equity firms First Reserve Corp. and Beowulf Energy LLC have teamed up to make several large investments in the Eastern Caribbean's burgeoning energy and natural resources sector, the parties announced Wednesday.
The joint venture includes a transfer of Beowulf's interest in Trinity Power Ltd. to First Reserve and a joint purchase of a controlling stake in the Eastern Caribbean Gas Pipeline Co. in an effort to capitalize on new pipeline projects underway in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.
