Law360, New York (January 13, 2012, 1:50 PM ET) -- Brazilian energy company CPFL Energias Renovaveis SA has agreed to buy four wind power projects in its home country from Madrid-based developer Cobra Instalaciones y Servicios SA, the company announced Friday.
CPFL, a joint venture between local ERSA-Energias Renovaveis SA and CPFL Energia SA, signed a purchase and sales agreement with Cobra on Thursday for the developments. While financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, the agreement stipulates that the Sao Paulo-based company will generate power from the facilities for 35 years.
