Law360, Washington (February 01, 2012, 7:23 PM ET) -- Independent power producer Atlantic Power Corp. has purchased 51 percent of the Oklahoma wind power project Canadian Hills Wind LLC for $23 million, which offers the promise of increasing generating capacity by 300 megawatts, according to an announcement Tuesday.
The deal gives Atlantic the rights to invest all $170 million of the project's equity as the its operator and asset manager, the company said in a statement.
