Exxon Triumphs In Defective Equipment Suit Over Md. Leak

Law360, New York (February 03, 2012, 7:42 PM ET) -- A Maryland federal judge on Wednesday tossed the last remaining claim in a fraud lawsuit filed by a gas station company against ExxonMobil over an allegedly defective gas line that resulted in a 26,000-gallon underground fuel spill.

U.S. District Court Judge William D. Quarles Jr. granted summary judgment to ExxonMobil, finding plaintiff Storto Enterprises Inc.'s fraudulent concealment claim was made after the statute of limitations had expired.
