Law360, New York (February 27, 2012, 5:55 PM ET) -- Texas-based energy companies Kinder Morgan Energy Partners LP and Martin Midstream Partners LP have teamed up to build a multicommodity rail terminal that will serve the growing oil and natural gas industries in the Permian Basin, the companies announced Monday.
In joining forces, the companies are positioning themselves to offer a variety of services to local fuel producers, including crude oil hauling, storage, transloading, marketing and access to Louisiana's sweet crude oil markets, through an 85-acre site in Pecos, Texas.
