Law360, New York (May 07, 2012, 10:11 PM ET) -- Parque Eolico El Arrayan, a joint venture created to build Chile's largest wind power plant, on Monday said it has received $245 million in financing and has begun construction on the 115-megawatt project.
The joint venture partners — Texas-based power company AEI Energy, renewable energy specialist Pattern Energy Group LP and Chilean mining company Antofagasta Minerals SA — said the El Arrayan project, located 400 kilometers north of Santiago, would provide enough energy to power as many as 200,000 homes once completed.
