Law360, New York (May 11, 2012, 6:06 PM ET) -- Energy giant Halcon Resources Corp. has ponied up $194 million for a working interest in oil and gas leases through an agreement with an unnamed private seller, the company said in a Friday regulatory filing.
The interests so far have no proven oil or natural gas production, Halcon said in the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filing. The short filing did not specify details of the lease sites or the deal except that the company expects it to close in late June, subject to closing conditions....
