Law360, New York (June 08, 2012, 10:18 PM ET) -- The U.S. House of Representatives on Friday rejected a motion to instruct members attending a conference with the U.S. Senate over a highway bill to limit spending for fiscal year 2013 to $37.5 billion, the amount that would be collected through a gas tax and other existing revenue.
The motion, sponsored by Rep. Paul Broun, R-Ga., was defeated in an 82 to 323 vote, with no Democrats voting for it.
