Law360, New York (June 22, 2012, 2:28 PM ET) -- Union Pacific Railroad Co. asked a California federal court on Thursday to throw out claims from mining giant Asarco LLC seeking contribution for $33 million in Superfund cleanup costs, arguing that the allegations are time-barred because of a 1989 settlement.
