Testimony Challenging Blackstone Power Line Benefits Stands

Law360, New York (July 13, 2012, 5:35 PM ET) -- Testimony challenging a cost-benefit analysis supporting the Blackstone Group LP's planned Quebec-to-New York City hydroelectric power line may remain on the record, state regulators ruled Friday, rejecting the project owner's contention that the filing should not be fair game at upcoming hearings.

The New York State Public Service Commission let stand testimony by Independent Power Producers of New York Inc. consultant Mark D. Younger, whose group opposes the massive project.
