Review Begins For AES Corp.'s $500M Calif. Energy Project

Law360, New York (August 10, 2012, 2:30 PM ET) -- California's energy regulators on Thursday launched their review of AES Corp.'s proposed 939-megawatt, cleaner-burning power plant in Orange County to be built on the site of an existing power generator.

The proposed Huntington Beach Energy Project would bring two natural-gas-fired, combined-cycle power plants to a 28.6-acre site about 30 miles from Los Angeles.
