NJ Court Says State Can Yank Electricity Metering Program

Law360, New York (August 17, 2012, 3:41 PM ET) -- A New Jersey appeals court on Friday affirmed the state utilities board's suspension of a controversial electricity metering program criticized for overcharging tenants, saying apartment complex owners who paid to install equipment for so-called submetering knew the financial risks involved in the experimental program.
