Law360, New York (October 16, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has come to an agreement with ExxonMobil Corp. and Cargill Dry Corn Ingredients Inc. to cover an estimated $7.2 million in cleanup costs at a Superfund site in Selma, N.C.
In papers filed this week in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina, the Department of Justice on behalf of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency filed a lawsuit over the cleanup costs and the consent decree resolving all claims in the government's complaint.
