SunPower Signs Offtake Deal For Planned 100-MW Solar Farm

Law360, New York (September 07, 2012, 3:33 PM ET) -- California's SunPower Corp. has inked a power purchase deal with local utility Pacific Gas and Electric Co. to help finance the 100-megawatt solar farm SunPower has planned for south of Fresno, the developer announced Friday.

SunPower and PG&E did not say how much the utility would pay to draw electricity from the Henrietta Solar Project, which is slated to break ground in 2015 and come online in late 2016, according to a statement from SunPower.
